Creation is what I am most excited about.

What can I create? How can I help create? For the most part, these thoughts have driven my life. Creation to solve problems (of import and at scale) is what I dream about the most.

The deeper thrust of my efforts are centered on sustainability - the survival of earth and human survival on earth. To fulfill our needs as a species in this fascinating universe, what challenges do we face and how do we overcome them?

The pursuit of answers to that question has made me realize that sought after remedies rests at the intersection of technology and economics. The remarkable engine that grows the solutions to those challenges is controlled by five levers that I find beautiful and intriguing: Design, Science, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Finance. With each of them I have been getting intimate - striving to learn about them and learning to use them.

Computation stack is the bedrock of my technological expertise. Upon that foundation, I have built my innovation proficiency spanning the domains of design, fabrication, and automation.

Finally, I believe there is only one way to do things and that is to do it delightfully right. Impact , elegance , and durability are what I seek and aspire for in everything I build and support.

Pranav's roots go to a little farming village close to the coast in a river delta in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

While his father is an engineer with a hand for painting and his mother is a trained teacher with a degree in zoology, his father's father was a farmer and his mother's father with a degree in history was a civil servant who went on to head municipalities as commissioner. From them, he inherited a big part of his compass in the world.

As a kid, he spent almost all of his holidays hanging onto the back of a bullock drawn cart carrying coconuts or hay, playing around in the farmlands or inside tiny little tanks holding water for irrigation, and staring at the night sky that was full of stars and wondering about the vast expanse of space. Starting here, his life so far has spanned across India and US, with stops also in Spain, Germany and Japan.

In his free time, besides reading, he enjoys working on his skillset / knowledge for running, swimming, bicycling, motoring (motorcycles & cars), surfing, windsurfing or sailing. He also works on his photography, painting and music skills. He harbors a desire to sail himself around the world one day on a sailboat, if not into the space on a shuttle.
